Wherever people live together, work, or learn with one another, conflicts can arise. Some of these conflicts are less serious, as they may have resulted from a misunderstanding and can be resolved relatively easily through a conversation. Other disputes are more complicated and can put a lot of pressure on individuals. At the latest, when the line to physical or emotional violence has been crossed, you should try to find a way out together with others! So that you don’t have to face your worries and problems alone, our school has several contact persons who are happy to support you.
In addition to individual guidance and support provided by class teachers and subject teachers, our school also has a dedicated counseling team. This team includes the counseling and trusted teacher Dr. Nina Offergeld (individual counseling, group training, prevention work), school mediator Maik Buhr (group training, prevention work), and Ms. Kathrin Torkel (addiction prevention). Individual counseling for students, parents, or teachers is subject to confidentiality and is therefore strictly private. Issues related to school as well as personal life can be discussed here, and possible solutions can be explored together. If needed, further support services can be initiated. Counseling office hours can be found at the counseling teacher’s office (Room 1001 in the old building). You can also make an appointment verbally or via E-Mail You can also make an appointment verbally or via email, and a separate meeting can be arranged if needed.
It is important to us to create a fair and open environment together with you at our school. Together, we can achieve a lot!
